Vauß-Hof
7 July 2012Next stop was a busy organic farm near Paderborn, where Anja and Marius are building up the family business with a combination of farming, photovoltaic installations and activities for kids.
Vauß-Hof turned out to be a great find and – like Altenstühlen – I was to visit often over the coming months. On occassion there were numerous volunteers there, and at one time we had a great mixture of american, australian, italian and of course scottish.

Some organic cows. They don't have their horns removed, to allow a more natural herd behaviour. And they are not all inseminated at the same time of year, so there are calves being born all year round.
