I helped install in Knoydart.
My name is Pete Campbell, and the primary purpose of this website is to give friends and family an insight into my life.
Why is my life so interesting? Well, I used to work as a computer programmer and was sat in an office all day in front of a computer. If I was still doing that, this website wouldn't exist! However, I quit my job in Autumn 2005, since when I've been volunteering around Scotland.
I'm interested in permaculture, sustainable building and renewable energy, and this is reflected in the places I've visited. The Diary section contains descriptions of my experiences, with lots of photographs to illustrate the work I've been doing, and the beautiful landscapes in which I've been doing it.
